After breakfast, depart from Fes and head south through the fertile Saiss plains toward Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture and clean environment. Continue through the Cedar Forest near Azrou, where Barbary macaques roam freely.

After lunch in Midelt, travel through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and descend into the lush Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and ksar villages. By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga and check into a lodge at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After a relaxed breakfast, explore the Merzouga region by 4x4. Visit Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa music, and meet local nomads while sharing mint tea. Discover fossil-rich areas and experience off-road driving across the dunes.

In the afternoon, meet your camel caravan and ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Stop atop a high dune to watch the desert sunset before continuing to your luxury Sahara camp. Dinner is served under the stars, followed by Berber drum music around the campfire. Overnight in private ensuite tents.

Wake early to witness sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel and meet your driver. Visit Rissani, the historic capital of Tafilalet and an important trading center known for its traditional market.

Continue toward Tinghir, walking through its palm oasis with a local guide before reaching the dramatic Todra Gorges, where towering limestone cliffs rise above the riverbed. In the afternoon, drive to Boumalne Dades for dinner and overnight at a hotel.

After breakfast, travel through the Valley of Roses, famous for its rose water production in spring. Continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Skoura Oasis, visiting Kasbah Amridil, one of Morocco’s best-preserved adobe fortresses.

Stop briefly in Ouarzazate before visiting the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in many international films. After lunch, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, arriving in Marrakech by late afternoon. Drop-off at your accommodation.
